Level 1: Rëzo Cuts + Rëzo Lites
An introduction to Rëzo techniques

July 18+19: Taught by Nubia Rëzo 

Level 1 introduces you to the foundation of techniques that set the Rëzo method apart from all other curl-cutting systems. In this class, you’ll learn the essential principles behind creating a balanced, voluminous, and versatile shape — one that maintains its integrity even when the hair is blown out.

You’ll gain a deep understanding of how to approach curls with confidence and intention, learning the fundamentals that make the Rëzo technique so transformative for every curl pattern.

Completion of Level 1 is a prerequisite for Level 2, where you’ll advance into mastering specialized cutting techniques and truly refining your craft.

 

Day One | Rëzo Cut

On the first day, you are introduced to the  Rëzo cut theory of cutting curly textured hair in circular motions by using the signature Rëzo cut rose technique®  by pushing volume from the bottom to the top and blending textures together, creating Body, Balance and Shape.

Day Two | Rëzo Lites

On the second day, you are introduced to the Rëzo lites method and develop an understanding on how to safely and seamlessly create highlights on curly textured hair by creating ribbons of dimensional color. This class will also include a hands on product knowledge styling and diffusing demonstration. 

LEVEL 2: RËZO CUT ADVANCED TRAINING

JULY 20+21: Taught by Nubia Rëzo 

(Stylists must be level 1 certified to take this course)  

Having completed your Level One and learning the fundamentals and techniques of the Rëzo Cut, get ready to take advantage of this incredible opportunity to expand your knowledge, refine your techniques, and embark on an exciting journey towards becoming one of the world's highest certified curl experts.  

What is Rëzo Level Two 

The two-day intensive class focuses on the power of concaving, elevating curls and creating maximum volume on all lengths and all textures. Working in smaller groups, you will gain insight into Nubia's 40-year career with textured hair with her team of highly-skilled educators. 

Level 2 is a deep dive in perfecting cutting curly hair from various lengths, curls, and shapes. Walk away with more knowledge and confidence as a true curly hair specialist. 
 
Learn how to use the Rëzo cutting techniques to create FOUR modern curl cuts - the Classic Rëzo Signature Cut, Le Rëzo Bob Cut, Rëzo Shag Cut and the famous Rëzo Zero Degrees Elevation Cut.
